Preliminary Submission of ANC TC4

Preliminary submission by the African National Congress (ANC) on the right to equality, political rights, citizens rights, freedom of movement and freedom of residence. The submission discusses the formulations of the interim constitution and deals with content and application of the rights. It is argued by ANC that the new democracy should be based on equality, which should be the driving force of political, cultural and personal life in the country. In addition, it is argued that affirmative action becomes compulsory in the context of the historical inequality and the legacy of discrimination.
