Preliminary Submission of the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) regarding Fundamental Rights and Freedoms

This document displays the arguments of the ACDP sent to Theme Committee 4 in regards to the Constitutional Principle 11 on Fundamental Rights and Freedoms. ACDP believes in a biblical approach to grant the fundamental human rights. In this vein, ACDP suggests revisiting some of the articles such as Clause 8.2 in Chapter 3 on Fundamental Rights, which refers to unfair discrimination and other clauses regulating sexual orientation and the right to live clause.
