Preliminary Recommendations of Commission on Provincial Government (CPG) regarding the Provincial Finance and Fiscal Affairs

This document displays the recommendations of Commission on Provincial Government (CPG) on the provincial finance and fiscal affairs. In order to prepare recommendations, CPG organized a special workshop in which the views of foreign and local experts and representatives from a large variety of institutions, including Parliament, the national government (state departments), provincial legislatures and executives, local governments and local government bodies, the Financial and Fiscal Commission and many others were solicited. The Commission was assisted during its deliberations by a task group consisting of economists, lawyers and other persons with knowledge of and experience in dealing with financial matters. This document includes the general consensus they have from from these discussions, submissions and literature studies.
