Constitutional Assembly: Theme Committee One (Character of the Democratic State): Minutes of the Meeting of the Theme Committee

 At this meeting the IFP presented its submission for Block 2 on One Sovereign State and Equality. Important clarifications were made, such as between the terms Constitutional Law and Public International law. A couple other issues were raised and discussed by the Committee as well. A few amendments were suggested. Also presented was the Briefing Document by the Technical Committee on Block 3. The goal of this document was to set boundaries and guidelines in order to focus the debate on “Supremacy of the Constitution.” The Committee also discussed the setting up of sub-committees.
