Constitutional Assembly Theme Committee 4 - Fundamental Rights - Submission by the Democratic Party on Block 3: Right to Equality

In this submission by the Democratic Party the concept of Equality and The Bill of Rights are discussed with regard to discrimination, differentiation and affirmative action. It presents a discussion of the content of the right and additional suggestions for the equality clause. The Democratic Party also believes that the Bill of Rights should have a clause protecting affirmative action programmes.
