The Arguments of the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) regarding the Nature and Application of the Bill of Rights

This document displays the arguments of the ACDP sent to Theme Committee 4, Block One on the nature of the Bill of Rights. According to the ACDP, the reference of the bill should always be a biblical principle. The nature of a Bill of Rights should be a document enforcing the heritage of divine authority with the corresponding duties that inevitably come from being granted responsibilities in discharging the authority. In addition, based on the ACDP’s arguments, the Bill should further include redressing and supporting systems for the victims.
