Análisis comparativo de la Constitución de Chile y Dos Proyectos de Reforma Constitucional

Este informe resume las diferencias entre la Constitución Política de Chile de 1980 (con sus enmiendas hasta la fecha) y dos propuestas de reforma: la propuesta desarrollada durante la presidencia de Michelle Bachelet (2014-2018) y la elaborada por la Convención Constitucional que operó entre julio del 2021 y julio del 2022. Ahora que Chile inicia su tercer gran intento de reforma constitucional en una década, es esencial comprender claramente el contenido de las distintas propuestas. Este informe tiene por objetivo resumir las diferencias.

This report summarizes the differences between the 1980 Political Constitution of Chile (with its amendments to date) and two reform proposals: the proposal developed during the presidency of Michelle Bachelet (2014-2018) and the one elaborated by the Constitutional Convention that operated between July 2021 and July 2022. As Chile begins its third major attempt at constitutional reform in a decade, it is essential to clearly understand the content of the various proposals. This report aims to summarize the differences.
