<p>On the 15<sup>th</sup> of January 2014 the <a href="http://www.zambianwatchdog.com/here-is-the-draft-constitution-as-given-to-sata-by-the-technical-committee/">Zambian Watchdog</a> and <a href="http://www.lusakatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/CONSTITUTION-OF-ZAMBIA-TECHNICAL-COMMITTEE-AUGUST-2013-3.pdf">Lusaka Times</a> released a ‘leaked’ copy of the final <a href="http://www.zambianwatchdog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/CONSTITUTION-OF-ZAMBIA-TECHNICAL-COMMITTEE-AUGUST-2013-3.pdf">draft constitution</a> which was reportedly handed to President Sata. One of President Sata’s promises in the run-up to his election in
2011 was the adoption of a new Constitution.
