On 10th July, French MPs will vote on a symbolic measure: an amendment championed by Ecology Minister Nicolas Hulot, which proposes to include “the preservation of the environment and biological diversity as well as action against climate change” in Article 1 of the Constitution, as part of a project to revise the first Article.
