President John Dramani Mahama has announced that the government will soon establish a Constitutional Review Implementation Committee (CRIC) to oversee the rollout of reforms recommended by the Constitutional Review Committee. [ . . . ] “Government is currently examining the recommendations of the Constitutional Review Committee and very soon we will announce the formation of the constitutional review implementation committee (CRIC) to oversee the next steps towards constitutional review.
The implementation of agreed reforms will commence when parliament reconvenes following constitutional and legislative procedures,” he said.
The newly formed committee will coordinate and manage the process to ensure that the reforms are executed effectively and transparently.
