Suggestions to Ensure Women's Rights in the New Constitution

This document comprises of draft suggestions for the incorporation of Constitutional provisions to ensure the rights of women in the new Constitution being made by the Constituent Assembly. It includes the Preamble, citizenship, fundamental rights, duties, directive principles and policies of the State, the President and Vice President, the Executive, the Legislature Parliament, committees, Judiciary, the Judicial Council, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, the Public Service Commission, the Election Commission, the National Human Rights Commission, political parties, provisions regarding the army, the Formation of Commissions, and the newly added commission (the National Women and Gender Justice Promotion Commission).
