Statement on the Draft Constitution of Afghanistan

 This Statement, made by the Secretariat of the Constitutional Comission of Afghanistan, details  the role of Hamid Karza President of the Transitional Islamic State of Afghanistan in kickstarting  a participatory constitution building process to draft a new constitution for the new Afghan State, in line with the provisions of the Bonn Agreement of December 5 2001.
