Police Contribution to the Making of the New Constitution
The position paper of the Uganda Police Force displays recommendations discussed at a seminar held at the Senior Police Officers' mess on 9th and 10th may, 1990. Ten papers were debated dealing with the police, the army, women, forms of government, traditional rulers, human rights and the police, land, political parties, political appointments to public offices and citizenship. The importance of national unity is emphasised and it is argued that Uganda is not yet ready for party politics.
