Issues Concerning the Disabled People in the New Constitution of Nepal

This document was presented by the Nepal Disabled Human Rights Centre to the Constituent Assembly Secretariat.  It includes suggestions for the Constitution drafting to various issue-based Committees, including the Fundamental Rights and Directive Principle Committee, the Committee of Safeguarding the Rights of Minorities and Marginalized Communities, the Committee for State Restructuring and Distribution of State Power, the Committee for Determining the Form of Legislative Organ, the Committee for Determining the Administrative Form of the State, the Committee for Judiciary System, the Committee for Determining the Structure of Constitutional Bodies, the Committee for Distributing Natural Resources, Economic Rights and Revenues, the Committee for Determining the Basis for Social Solidarity, the Committee for Safeguarding National Interests and the Notice of Civic Relations Committee.
