The Constitution of Zambia Bill 2005

This draft constitution of Zambia was written in 2005 as part of elusive search for a new Zambian constitution commenced in 1996. Also called the Mung’omba Draft, after the Chair of the Commission that drafted it and to distinguish it from drafts by previous commissions, this document was the most progressive of all the draft constitutions produced since the quest for a lasting constitution for Zambia was initiated by Kenneth Kaunda.
