Joint Statement by International Election Experts and Organizations on Myanmar
ရွေးကောက်ပွဲစောင့်ကြည့်လေ့လာရေး၊ ရွေးကောက်ပွဲနှင့် ဒီမိုကရေစီအကူအညီပေးရေးတို့ကို အဓိကဆောင်ရွက်နေကြပြီး စစ်မှန်၍ အများယုံကြည်သည့် ရွေးကောက်ပွဲများ ဖြစ်ထွန်းလာစေရေး တိုက်တွန်းထားသည့် နိုင်ငံတကာရွေးကောက်ပွဲစောင့်ကြည့်လေ့လာရေး အခြေခံမူများဆိုင်ရာ ကြေညာစာတမ်းကို လေးစားလိုက်နာသော အောက်ဖော်ပြပါ လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးထားသည့် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အဖွဲ့အစည်းများသည် တရားဥပဒေနှင့်မညီသည့် မြန်မာစစ်အုပ်စု၊ နိုင်ငံတော်စီမံအုပ်ချုပ်ရေးကောင်စီ (နစက) က ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် ကျင်းပမည့် ‘ရွေးကောက်ပွဲ’အမည်ခံ အစီအစဉ်များကို ပြတ်ပြတ်သားသားပင် ငြင်းပယ်သည်။
We, the undersigned organizations specializing in election observation, electoral and democracy assistance, committed to the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation advocating for genuine and credible elections, unequivocally reject plans by Myanmar’s illegal military junta, the State Administrative Council (SAC), to hold a so-called ‘election’ in 2025.
