Zimbabwe sets public hearings on proposed constitutional amendment

Zimbabweans are set to take part in public consultations next week on the proposed Constitution Amendment No. 3 Bill, as political tensions continue to rise in the country. The consultations will run from March 30 to April 2 and are expected to gather public input on the proposed changes to the Constitution. However, observers have raised concerns that recent restrictions on civic space could undermine the credibility and inclusiveness of the process.
