Zambia: UPND leader demands release of draft constitution

<p>Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) Leader Hakainde Hichilema has demanded that government should immediately release the draft constitution before there can be any meeting over its roadmap.</p> <p>Speaking in an interview with ZANIS in Kitwe today, Mr Hichilema said the opposition parties and members of the public can only dialogue with government on the constitution making <span class="IL_AD">process</span> based on the contents of the draft constitution.</p> <p>Mr Hichilema was reacting to a statement made by Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba during a ZNBC ‘Sunday Interview ‘ programme that government was now ready to dialogue with the opposition on the constitution making process.</p>
