World Bank Support for a New Tunisia

<p>The World Bank, on May 4, announced that it is extending a USD500 million dollar loan to the Tunisian state as part of an effort to “provide a boost for the transitional government’s efforts in freedom of association; access to information; transparency in public procurement; beneficiary participation in service delivery; and retraining of unemployed workers”.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><div>[toc hidden:1]</div>
