Vast majority of Chileans support new constitution

Just 25 days before the celebration in Chile of a historic plebiscite for a new Constitution, 83 percent of potential voters are in favor of 'Approval', as a poll indicates. The Pulso Ciudadano ('Citizen Pulse') study by the consulting firm Activa Research also indicates that 66.8 percent favor the Constitutional Convention (with all the delegates elected by the population) as the way to draft a new fundamental law.
