<h1></h1><div class="item_content"><p>The decentralization of power should be based on European experience in local governing, on basic principles of the European Charter — subsidiarity, comprehensiveness and financial capability.</p><p>Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Head of the Constitutional Commission Volodymyr Groysman said this at the second meeting of the Constitutional Commission.</p><p>The Head of the Commission noted that taking in account the procedure, respective draft law on introduction of amendments into the Basic Law in terms of decentralization of power should be submitted for the consideration of the Verkhovna Rada in late May, thus, all of it requires more intensive work.</p>
