Thailand: CDC needs two weeks to summarize draft constitution for public distribution

<p><strong>The President of the Constitution Drafting Commission needs two weeks to summarize the draft charter for public distribution.</strong></p> <p>CDC President Meechai Richupan said today that the charter drafters have been relieved of their duties after more clarification was gained about the definition of the majority vote of eligible voters for the public referendum on the draft Constitution.</p> <p>Mr. Meechai said that the CDC is also pleased to hear that the government will launch an active campaign to encourage as many voters as possible to exercise their right.</p>
