Tanzania court refuses to suspend CA sessions

<p>THE High Court refused to give an order for suspension of ongoing sessions of the Constitutional Assembly which are in progress at the designated capital of Dodoma.&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.5em;">This followed a decision by a panel comprising Judges Augustine Mwarija, Aloysius Mujulizi and Twaib Fauz to "strike out" an application lodged by Journalist Said Kubenea.</span></p><p>The judges ruled that the application seeking suspension of the assembly seating, was incompetent because the applicant (Kubenea) failed to cite a proper law that would have empowered the court to adjudicate the same.</p>
