Somalia's government holds Constitution review meeting

On May 14, 2017, the Ministry of Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government has launched a meeting to review Somalia's provisional constitution. The meeting, which will extend over three days, aims to gather positions of the regional states with regard to the constitutional review process. During the discussions, the Federal government and the regional administrations will focus on different agendas including constitutional amendment procedures, public consultations before implementing public referendum.
