Somali leaders agree on pursuing a federal state structure for national peace

<p>A section of Somali leaders Sunday agreed to a joint communiqué that if seen through, could set the political future of Somalia towards a successful end.&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 20.3999996185303px;">Prime Minister Omar Sharma’arke, Puntland President Abdiweli Mohamed Ali and Jubaland President Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Madobe) appended a signature to a statement that declared that they will uphold the national interest above all as well respect the Provisional Federal Constitution (PFC).</span><span style="color: #008000;">&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 20.3999996185303px;">The leaders similarly agreed to safeguard the national unity at a time the country is reeling from two decades of national discord and civil strife after the central government of Mohamed Siad Barre
