In Russia, security council deputy chairman reports that government will make changes to current constitution

At a meeting with school and university students on [11 December], Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said that while the country does not need a new Constitution, the authorities will make some changes to the current one. [...] At the same time, he added, “there will definitely be some targeted changes.” “Some further adjustments [to the Constitution] will undoubtedly be made, but in my view, it doesn’t make sense to discuss a brand new Constitution at the moment,” Medvedev said. He did not specify what kind of adjustments he was referring to.
