Parliament leadership reviews progress on Somalia's provisional constitution

The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur (Madobe), and the Speaker of the Upper House, H.E. Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, held a joint meeting with the Chairmen of the Constitutional Oversight and Review Committees of both Houses of Parliament, along with the leadership of the Independent Constitutional Review and Implementation Commission (ICRIC). The meeting focused on reviewing the progress made in the constitutional review process and finalizing the remaining chapters of Somalia’s Provisional Constitution — a critical step toward completing the nation’s constitutional framework.
