Paraguay to vote constitutional amendment on presidential re-election amid controversy

Paraguay's Senate Vice President Julio Cesar Velazquez, from the currently-governing Colorado party, approved Monday night a resolution to hold an extraordinary session about a constitutional amendment meant to allow presidential re-election, without the approval of the Senate's President Roberto Acevedo, from the opposition Liberal Party.
