[On 29 November], the Minister for Justice and Attorney General Pila Niningi presented [two] Constitutional Amendments, the Court Restructure Law of 2023 to establish the Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Amendment (Declaration of Papua New Guinea as a Christian Country). [...] [They] were referred to the Parliamentary Committee on Laws Acts and Subordinate Legalisations for scrutiny and deliberations of the proposed amendment to the constitution.
