The Human Rights Committee of the Senate will take up tomorrow (Thursday) draft legislation to lift the transgender community from its current denial of basic human rights. Such bill would implement provisions of the Constitution which, under Article 25, guarantees equality before law to all citizens and explicitly forbids, under other articles, discrimination on the basis of sex.
