Op-ed: Why Uganda should not amend Article 26 of Constitution

The author discusses proposed amendments to the Article 26 of Constitution (right to protection of property). According to him, these changes are unjust and raise questions of the democratic principle of separation of powers among the arms of government as the government (Executive) is arbitrarily seeking to overturn the decision of the Supreme Court (Judiciary) using its parliamentary majority (Legislature).
