Nepal: Ruling parties 'register' joint proposal on disputed issues for Constitutional Drafting
<p>Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML along with fringe parties on Sunday officially registered their first joint proposal on contentious issues of new constitution at the Political Dialogue and Consensus Committee (PDCC) as per the agreement among the top leaders of major parties, multiple sources said. According to sources, in a meeting of top leaders of major parties on November 1, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal had agreed to present position of all parties in the Constituent Assembly (CA) and start the process of preparing preliminary draft of new constitution.</p>
