Moroccans eye constitutional referendum

<p>Moroccans are beginning to warm up for a referendum that would approve or reject draft amendments to its current fundamental law, amidst speculation that the vote is likely to be in June or July (<a title="The referendum for the new constitution in morocco" href="http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/9197431-the-referendum-for-the-new-constitution-in-morocco">All voices</a>). Morocco’s Mohammed VI promised constitutional reforms earlier in March in a move to pre-empt a wave of political protests across the region that also threatened to engulf the country, (<a title="Moroccan king announces constitutional reform" href="http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/98118702-4aa5-11e0-82ab-00144feab49a.html#axzz1NM0M5RNl">Financial Times</a>).
