Latvian ombudsman proposes writing political neutrality of office into constitution

Latvian Ombudsman Juris Jansons has suggested enshrining the political neutrality of his office in the Baltic country's constitution, his representative informed. The ombudsman came up with this proposal during a meeting with Latvian President Egils Levits on Wednesday.
