Kuwait: "National Front" to adopt constitutional amendments – Focus on preventing Cabinet from taking sole decisions, Kuwait Times - 2012

<p><span>The National Front opposition is set to announce, as part of their campaign against the government’s alleged violation of constitutional principles, plans to propose constitutional amendments that favor an elected Cabinet system, as well as other political and economic reforms.&nbsp;</span><span>This was disclosed by a source close to the Majority Bloc; a coalition of oppositionists who dominated the majority seats in the annulled 2012 parliament.&nbsp;<span>The front will basically focus on preventing the Cabinet from taking sole decisions to change regulations, such as the electoral law, which is currently being looked at by the Constitutional Court to determine the constitutionality of the constituencies’ distribution.&nbsp;<span>“The ‘2 constituencies-1 vote’ scenario is seen
