Kosovo will begin work on statute of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities in compliance with constitution

The Constitutional Court ruled that some of the provisions of the Agreement on establishment of the Association reached between Kosovo and Serbia during the EU-facilitated dialogue in Brussels, were in violation with the Constitution of Kosovo. “You know that the Constitutional Court’s decision has ruled that the Agreement on Association has violated 22 Articles of the Constitution. The process will be reviewed and drafting of the statute of the Association will commence soon,” the Government said in an answer. The Government reiterated that the Association will be created based on the Constitution of Kosovo.
