In Japan, commission on constitution to meet and discuss constitutional change

The Commission on the Constitution will meet in Tokyo [on 2 March] to discuss revisions to the Japanese constitution. The Commission on the Constitution is the organization in charge of researching legislation, passing consideration for amendments, and arranging referendums. [...] [Incumbent Japanese Prime Minister and Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Fumio Kishida] passe[d] particular attention to Article 9, which directly determines Japan’s military, self-defense and foreign legislation.
