Jamaica's Public Defender, Arlene Harrison-Henry, has called for an expansion of the anti-discrimination provisions of the Constitution to include people with disabilities as they constitute one of the most vulnerable groups of the society. She stressed that there is much to be done for the Constitution to effectively protect all Jamaicans. Finally, she asked the government to conduct a comprehensive Constitution reform process with wide, public participation islandwide.
