Daunting task ahead for Tanzania's Constituent Assembly

<p>ON Thursday is the 37th day since the Special Constituent Assembly (CA) members started holding sessions here. A remarkable work to write the Standing Orders that shall be applied during all the CA meetings has already been accomplished. </p><p>Many CA members had expected that serious House business could have started on Monday this week, but few issues are still pending, thus blocking the sessions' smooth take off. Reasons for the House adjournment included the delay by the Standing Orders Committee to complete the assignment given by CA chair on the modality of voting - either open or secret ballot system.</p>
