Brazilian presidential candidate proposes constitutional reform

Brazilian presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) said that when he spoke about "redemocratizing the country" and changing the Constitution if elected, he was referring to proposed amendments that he has defended throughout the campaign. In listing them, he left open the possibility of extending the presidential term from 4 to 5 years. The PL candidate cited examples of proposed constitutional amendments, including lowering the age of criminal responsibility, reforming the judiciary, political reform, changes to the tax reform and ending presidential reelection. When discussing the proposal to end reelection, Flávio left the door open to extending the term.
