In Brazil, lower house president establishes working group to discuss potential adoption of semi-presidential system in 2030

[Original in Portuguese] In Brazil, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira, has announced the creation of a working group to analyze and discuss issues related to adopting a semi-presidential system of government in 2030. The working group will have 120 days to conclude its work, extendable for an equal period. The group will be assisted by an Advisory Council, coordinated by Nelson Jobim and will hold public hearings and meetings with stakeholders.
