The new parliament will need to join the work to improve the Constitution of the country, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he addressed the new and outgoing MPs of the House of Representativeness and members of the Council of the Republic on 5 December, BelTA has learned. “The new legislature will have to engage with projects that are in the realm of global political solutions. We have already accumulated a number of issues that need to be addressed together at the level of the Basic Law. The new parliament will have to join the work on improving our Constitution,” the head of state said.
