Functions of the head of state with regard to the appointment of judges may be simplified, BelTA learned from Chairman of the Supreme Court Valentin Sukalo.
According to Valentin Sukalo, a total of 1,239 judges work in various Belarusian courts. He believes that the head of state does not have to personally appoint all of them.
