Algeria: Crackdown on Independent Trade Unions, Unionists Prosecuted, Imprisoned for Peaceful Activities

<p><span style="font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.5em;">(Tunis) – Algerian authorities have increasingly clamped down on efforts to form independent unions and to organize and participate in peaceful protests and worker strikes.
