Objectives

To support the work of the Constituent Assembly by providing objective, technical information and facilitating multi-party dialogue. FUNDAPPAC will organize and facilitate multi-party committees to discuss and build consensus on key thematic areas, and will offer domestic and international expertise on technical issues. FUNDAPPAC will also facilitate dialogue with civil society representatives. It coordinated various events (public hearings, workshops, seminars, round-table discussions) with assembly commissions on issues such as: vision of the country and characteristics of the state; human rights with a gender approach; human rights and rule of law; civic oversight; intercultural relations; land, territory and environment; justice; and original peoples. Participants in the events included assembly delegates, national and international experts, and grassroots organizations. FUNDAPPAC also worked on the evaluation of tasks completed by the assembly.
