Pakistan Senate approves constitutional amendment on power and composition of electoral commission

<p><span>Amidst the concerns of the opposition parties on the content of the bill, the Senate on Thursday passed the “The Constitution (Twenty-second Amendment) Bill, 2016”, envisaging the qualification criterion for the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner and members of the Election Commission of Pakistan.</span></p>
