Standing Orders of the People's Consultative Assembly

The Standing Orders of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) of the Republic of Indonesia were laid down in 1999 and amended by a Decree in 2000.  The Standing Orders covers issues relating to the status, duties and authority of the MPR, membership, rights and privileges, immunity and police action against members, MPR factions, internal structures, leadership, general provisions, procedures for election, filling vacancies, duties and authorities, working body (membership and duties), ad hoc committees, Commissions, sessions and meetings, forms of decisions, decision-making processes, amendment of the Constitution, reports on the implementation of decisions, correspondence, and transitional provisions.
