DP Submission on Human Rights Commission to Subtheme Committee 6.3

Submission by the Democratic Party concerning a Human Rights Commission, which should be the guardian of the human rights enshrined in the charter of rights. The submission deals with the role, functions and structure of a Human Rights Commission. The DP believes that the constitution should not be too specific with regard to its functions and argues for a broad provision.
