Supplementary Submission of the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) on the Equality Clause

This document displays The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) supplementary submission on the "equality clause" specifically "sexual orientation" provision to the Constitutional Committee. Pursuant to ACDP, the sexual orientation distinction gives protection and special rights to homosexuals in the constitution and this hinders equal treatment to other groups or minorities. In addition, the ACDP is also against the inclusion of the "gender" provision in the equality clause. Beijing Conference was also indicated in the document as a reference of this view.
