ANC Preliminary Submission: Theme Committee 6 Sub-Committee 2 - Financial Institutions and Public Enterprises

Submission by ANC regarding a Financial and Fiscal Commission. The ANC believes that a Financial and Fiscal Commission (FFC), in which each province is represented, can make a major contribution to the achievement of fiscal stability, growth and development. ANC suggests that many of the provisions in the interim constitution concerning the FFC can be carried into the new constitution. The submission deals with some issues that need clarification, such as lines of accountability of the FFC, the number of members and the processes of appointing them.
